FAQ

We have collected a list of frequently asked questions about the zipline ride.

What about groups?

What about groups?

Groups can arrange bookings outside regular operating hours by prior agreement. The minimum group size for such bookings is 17 participants.

Does the zipline operate all year round?

Almost! The cable is removed at the beginning of the winter season and reinstalled in April after the annual Ski Jumping World Cup Finals (ski flying event). During the summer months, the zipline operates almost daily.

Operating times also depend on weather conditions and the season. We recommend checking available time slots via the “Book” button, or contacting us by phone or email.

Is the zipline safe?

Yes, the zipline descent is an extremely safe activity. Once you are secured to the cable, you are fully safe. All safety equipment used for the activity, as well as all personal protective gear, complies with the EN 15667-1 safety standard.

Our professionally trained staff will provide you with a detailed explanation of the descent process. The entire ride is fully automated, eliminating the possibility of human error. The system includes three independent braking systems that ensure maximum safety.

Before the descent, you will be thoroughly briefed on all safety aspects and the correct use of the personal protective equipment.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Bad weather is not necessarily a reason for the zipline to be cancelled. Descents are possible in temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +40 °C, even in rain or snow.

However, in truly unsuitable weather conditions (such as storms, lightning, hail, freezing rain, or strong winds), the activity is cancelled. In such cases, we will notify you and either cancel your booking or reschedule it for another preferred date.

What are the medical restrictions?

The following health restrictions apply to the zipline descent. The activity is not suitable for:

  1. Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances that impair physical or mental abilities.
  2. Persons with spinal injuries.
  3. Persons with high blood pressure or cardiovascular diseases.
  4. Pregnant women.
  5. Persons with epilepsy.
  6. Persons who have undergone surgery less than 6 months ago.
  7. Persons who have had eye surgery less than 3 months ago.
  8. Persons with reduced mobility – participation is possible only at their own risk, with prior notice required. They must also be informed about the possibility of experiencing discomfort or pain.

What are the restrictions for the use of zipline?

No additional experience is required for a zipline descent. The activity is suitable for participants over 10 years of age who do not have physical or psychological restrictions or restrictions related to heights, and for whom the use of the equipment would not pose any health or other risk or danger to themselves or others. Physical restrictions are mainly related to minimum and maximum body weight and height. Each participant is required to be weighed before the descent and upon receiving personal safety equipment, so that staff can verify the total weight.

Minimum weight with equipment must not be less than 30 kg, and maximum weight with equipment must not exceed 120 kg (personal safety equipment weighs approx. 5 kg).

Minimum required height for a solo descent is 140 cm.

For tandem zipline descent, children from 5 years of age and with a minimum height of 120 cm may descend when accompanied by a parent or guardian, provided that the combined weight of both participants including equipment also does not exceed 120 kg.

Do I need any special equipment for the descent?

You will receive all the necessary equipment from us. Our instructors will equip you with a safety harness and a helmet. You will also be provided with a trolley suitable for your body weight.

We recommend wearing only sports clothing and appropriate footwear. Long hair should be tied back. In summer, flip-flops can be stored in a backpack, which you will receive together with the equipment.

Do we go to the top of the ski flying hill on foot?

Of course not! You will reach the top of the ski flying hill by chairlift, located approximately 300 meters away. The chairlift ride to the top takes about 8 minutes.

How long does the zipline experience take?

The entire zipline experience, including equipment preparation and the chairlift ride, takes approximately 30 minutes.

Is a reservation for the descent required?

A reservation is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended. If you do not have a reservation, we cannot guarantee a descent. During the summer months, demand is very high, so it may happen that all time slots are already fully booked upon your arrival.

How long is the zipline descent?

The descent from the top of the ski flying hill, during which you can experience a feeling of complete freedom and a good dose of adrenaline, is 566 meters long.
