Hotel annex – multi-bed rooms
The hotel annex within the Hotel Planica complex offers multi-bed rooms and is particularly suitable for sports teams, groups, and organized training camps.
There are 20 rooms available with a total of 61 beds, allowing flexible accommodation for larger groups.
The hotel annex within the Hotel Planica complex also frequently hosts children visiting Planica as part of “school in nature” programs organized by the Center šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti (CŠOD), where they spend an unforgettable week surrounded by nature, physical activity, and their first real sporting experiences.

The annex of the Hotel Planica was built as early as 1935 and is now a protected heritage building, representing an important part of Planica’s architectural legacy. The building has preserved its original character and stands as a testament to the early days of organized sports tourism in this Alpine setting.
Already at the time of its construction, a tennis court and a swimming pool were built next to the property – an exceptionally progressive addition for that era, placing Planica among the most modern sports destinations of its time.
Thanks to its favorable natural features, terrain configuration, and climatic conditions, the area’s potential for ski jumping was soon recognized. This would later shape the development of the destination and lay the foundations for Planica’s globally renowned ski jumping tradition.
