Planica offers a variety of facilities and venues, specifically designed for different types of events and gatherings. The following are available:

1. The main cross-country skiing facility
2. The Čaplja facility
3. The warm-up facility at the top of the ski flying hill

Each facility has its own unique features and allows for flexible event planning.

1. Main cross-country skiing facility

In the heart of Planica, across from the Gorišek brothers’ ski flying hill, stands a central multipurpose facility that, thanks to its size, is ideal for large-scale business events, plenary presentations, annual corporate meetings, or formal receptions.

The spaces can be adapted to various layouts – from theater-style and conference-style setups to banquet arrangements or standing receptions. The observation deck at the top of the building offers an attractive location for catering, business receptions, or event photography.

The building enables the efficient logistical execution of larger events – with easy access, proximity to parking lots, and the ability to host multiple program components simultaneously (plenary sessions, accompanying programs, catering). Upon agreement, it is possible to rent a single floor or the entire building.

Capacity: up to 200 people (per floor)

2. The Čaplja facility

The Čaplja facility, located at the foot of the Bloudek’s Giant ski jump, serves as a service area for athletes and teams during competitions. Outside of competition periods, it is available for hosting small- to medium-sized business events.

The space is suitable for meetings, professional gatherings, conferences, seminars, and workshops. It allows for various layouts depending on the type of event, and its location near the ski jumps ensures a quiet and focused environment for work. The facility is equipped with a sound system, a projector, and a projection screen, enabling high-quality presentations, lectures, and business meetings.

An additional advantage of the facility is a small kitchen with a serving counter, which makes it easy to organize coffee breaks, refreshments, or lunches directly during the event.

3. Warm-up facility at the top of the ski flying hill

At the highest point of the Planica Nordic Centre (1,151 m), there is a warm-up facility at the top of the ski flying hill. During the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competitions, the facility serves as a warm-up area for ski jumpers before their jumps; outside of competitions, it is available for hosting smaller business events.

The space is suitable for meetings, seminars, presentations, or professional gatherings, especially for smaller management teams seeking to hold a working meeting in a secluded and peaceful setting. A unique feature of the facility is its location – access to the top is possible exclusively by chairlift, which ensures privacy and adds a distinctive character to the event.

4. Places at Hotel Dom Planica

The Dom Planica Hotel complex offers additional spaces suitable for a variety of activities. Guests have access to a conference room, ideal for meetings, training sessions, workshops, or small conferences, as well as a sports hall, which is perfect for sports activities, workouts, or larger conferences.

The spaces are suitable for both organized groups and teams looking to combine a professional program with physical activities. The hotel’s location allows for easy access to other facilities in Planica and the organization of full-day or multi-day programs.
