The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023 will be held between February 21st and March 5th 2023 in the most beautiful venue in the history of Nordic World Ski Championships, in Planica and Kranjska Gora. The competition venue is located in the sports paradise in the valley “Under the Ponce” with a wonderful view of the Julian Alps.
Competitions, ceremonies and an amazing accompanying program
Day and multipass tickets are available. Fans will be able to watch at least two competitions per day, follow an accompanying music program, and take part in many events at different venues. A special spectacle is promissed at the so-called Medal plaza in Planica Nordic Park in Kranjska Gora, where the medal ceremonies will be held, as well as the opening ceremony on February 21, 2023.

24 world champions
Cross-Country will have twelve medal competitions, Ski Jumping features seven, while Nordic Combined will stage five medal competitions. Special mention goes to the debut of the Nordic Combined Mixed Team Event as a World Championship medal event.
We will announce 24 world champions and twice as many recipients of silver and bronze medals in three disciplines: cross-country, Nordic combined and ski jumping.
